Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Our agreement with GuitarPCB.com prohibits us from shipping kits to Europe or Australia (other GuitarPCB suppliers have those regions). Currently, we ship only to USA and Canada, but we may offer shipping to other locations in the future.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Shipping Services

With the launch of our new website, we are offering additional shipping options that we have not offered previously. This includes some services by United States Postal Services (as offered on our old site) and United Parcel Service (new).

For those placing an order shipping to the United States, we now offer a Flat Rate Shipping option that will be our choice of USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground service. Additionally, you may select from other "live rates" to ship via specific carrier. Some selections will show options for domestic and international orders, such as "UPS Ground (USA) or UPS Standard (Canada). Only applicable services and rates are presented.

USPS First Class is offered for low-cost orders under 16 oz. Please note that this is provided as a convenience for those who desire to use this service, however, Pedal Parts and Kits will not provide support or refunds for packages that are not delivered, stolen, missing, delivered incorrectly using USPS first class mail. We provide a tracking number via email when the package is shipped, and customers may use this to open a search request with the postal service if they desire. We recommend that you ship via a different method if you are unwilling to risk loss of your package. In recent years, especially around the holidays, USPS has taken weeks and sometimes months to deliver packages that should have arrived in days.

Returns Policy

Parts Return Policy (this policy does not include Pedal Kits): You may return new, unused parts within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Any items which have been soldered, altered, or is no longer sellable as "new" cannot be returned. Any parts damaged in transit can be replaced with new parts, however, we may ask that you return the item to us or provide to the shipper as evidence of shipping damage.

You should expect to receive your refund within 30 days of your return package arriving back in our possession. Please note that this time period follows the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 10 business days). Once received, it takes us time to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days, often sooner).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Pedal Kit Return Policy: If a kit is damaged in shipping, please contact us using the Contact form on our website. If you open a support post on GuitarPCB.com and it is determined that a defective part is the issue, please contact us and we will ship you a replacement. Parts that are pre-tested prior to shipment, such as Germanium Transistors/Transistor Sets, are not eligible for free replacement. Please use caution to not damage components with too much heat while building your project. Sockets are included with kits so you may solder sockets in place and then insert the transistors and IC's without applying heat directly to these active components.

We do not offer refunds or returns for kits. This is because:

  1. There is significant labor in producing a kit (print BOM, print labels, bagging/labeling parts, drilling, packing, shipping, etc)
  2. We do not stock ready-to-ship kits; they are all produced as they are ordered. This is the only way we can offer a wide variety of kits.
  3. There would be significant labor in breaking apart kits and restocking the individual parts for these kits if returned.

We will try to provide the best customer service possible to assist you in your pedal-building journey. Please be sure to view our terms and conditions prior to purchasing.
