Description
This kit includes all of the parts needed to build the GuitarPCB Cranky Charles Distortion project. A British JCM800 style preamp with a 3-Band Baxandall Active EQ allowing you complete control over the tone. Turning the Drive full-up yields an aggressive distortion tone like you would expect from the real thing. Turn the Drive control down, and dial in some classic rock and blues. Use your guitar volume to get the most out of this versatile Monster of Rock!
This kit comes with a 125B enclosure and black Davies 1900H-style knobs. Please note that your circuit board may be gold or green in color. As of April 2024, we have 3 pieces left of gold, and after those are gone, we expect them to be green from now on. Our boards come from GuitarPCB.com, so we have no control over what color they produce.
All of our kits include a jack for a DC power adapter but no battery snap. If you wish to add a battery snap, please add a battery snap kit to your cart in addition to the pedal kit.
