This kit includes all of the parts needed to build the GuitarPCB Fat Cat Fuzz pedal project.
It is a more modern and civilized tone than the classic Fuzz Face circuit, and has found a niche with those who want an alternative but not too radically different sound. This PCB is designed to make your Fuzz tone Fat & Smooth. No transistors. All the Fuzz is coming from passive diodes resulting in smooth compression and harmonic overtones providing a smooth and transparent transition from clean to overloaded states.
This kit includes a 125B enclosure and black Davies 1510-style knobs.
All of our kits include a jack for a DC power adapter but no battery snap. Kits with pre-drilled enclosures are not drilled to accommodate an internal battery except by special request (use our contact form). Please see "What is provided in a kit?" in our FAQ for more details of what is included and what you will need to provide to complete the project.
