FZZZ BXXX Fuzz Pedal Kit

This kit includes all of the parts needed to build the GuitarPCB FZZZ BXXX project. This circuit is based on the famous Sam Ash® Fuzzz Boxx™.

This circuit produces a powerful and articulate tone that re-creates tones of the brighter "sizzling fuzzes" of that era. Used by greats such as Leslie West (Mountain), Tommy Bolin (Zephyr, James Gang & Deep Purple) and Ernie Isley (The Isley Brothers). The Fzzz Bxxx cleans up amazingly well with the twist of your Guitar volume producing powerful chiming clean tones on the brink of breakup to an all out Fuzz War.

The Fzzz Bxxx will yield up to 42dB of boost making it an excellent alternative to the Rangemaster. The Tone Pot has been enhanced to allow a full spectrum of tonal adjustments over the original. Cranking the Attack knob increases saturation, enabling maximum-strength Sam Ash Fuzzz Boxx style tone. This setting is great for warmer psychedelic soloing (American Woman) or some tight power chords.

This kit includes a 125B enclosure and black Davies 1510-style knobs.

All of our kits include a jack for a DC power adapter but no battery snap. If you wish to add a battery snap, please add a battery snap kit to your cart in addition to the pedal kit.
