Description

This L78L05 is a 5 Volt regulator with output current up to 100 mA. These are commonly used in pedals to provide power to Belton/Accutronics reverb bricks and to PT2399 echo processor ICs. They come in a TO-92 package, which leads many people to believe that it is a transistor. It's not, it is actually an IC; it just looks like a transistor.
