Pump'd Up Tone Bender Pedal Kit

This kit includes all of the parts needed to build the GuitarPCB Pump’d Up Tone Bender project.

This circuit is based upon the Sola Sound® Tone Bender™ Professional MKII, and uses vintage germanium PNP transistors for vintage tone. Traditionally, fuzz circuits like the Tone Bender™ which have PNP transistors have required a dedicated power supply, since they are positive-ground circuits. This project circuit board is designed with a charge pump section which allows the pedal to have power daisy-chained with other pedals on the same power supply. These kits include hand-measured, matched sets of vintage germanium transistors, each of which is marked with gain and leakage values. Please note that the transistor brand/model may vary, but all will be in TO-5 packages.

The Pump'd Up Tone Bender Kit includes a 125B enclosure and Davies 1510-style knobs.

All of our kits include a jack for a DC power adapter but no battery snap. If you wish to add a battery snap, please add a battery snap kit to your cart in addition to the pedal kit.
