Description

This kit includes all of the parts needed to build the GuitarPCB SWAH project. While not a clone, this is based upon the Snow White AutoWah with a few added enhancements. Starting Fall 2021, this kit includes a PCB that supports 4 PCB-mounted potentiometers. This is an excellent Auto Wah that sounds more like a real Wah than other Auto Wah circuits.

This kit includes a 125B-size enclosure and Davies 1900H-style knobs. Note - Images show white PCB, which was for first several runs. Latest run of the included circuit board is green.

All of our kits include a jack for a DC power adapter but no battery snap. If you wish to add a battery snap, please add a battery snap kit to your cart in addition to the pedal kit. SWAH - so much more

I bought this pedal kit on a whim after having DIY-d several other competitor kits. I wasn’t sure what to expect when it comes to components and build documentation/guidance. First off: the packaging of the components is second to none. I’m certain other folks have QA, but these folk include the shipping QA in the box. Wow. I initially thought all the extra bags was overkill, but after being interrupted multiple times during the build, I was thankful. Secondly: the silkscreen on the PCB was just the right size. I didn’t need a magnifier to confirm any of the spots. The components fit great. The sockets for the more ‘tender’ components is a great touch. Lastly: the sounds I’m able to coax from this pedal are downright Jerry Garcia-esque. Felt like I was experiencing a fire on the mountain on my way to shakedown street. I can’t wait for my son to have a break from college so he can try it out. Closing: I am so happy with the experience, I’ve already ordered two more kits.

SWAW v.5
