These are available in 8, 14 and 16 pin. Sold in packs of 5 pieces. Select from the options above. We like these better than the machined-style sockets, because the pins of the ICs are flat, as are the contact points on these sockets. Additionally, we feel that these allow the IC to be inserted easly, hold the IC securely, and allow the IC to be released with a reasonable amount of effort. If you strongly disagree, let us know and we'll add the other ones too!
