Description
This kit includes all of the parts needed to build the GuitarPCB 2021 V3 G2-Animal project. While not a clone, this compares to the infamous and practically unobtainable Cornish G2™. This circuit has been modified from the original. This circuit is similar to a muff, but has a unique buffer and a different tone control than a standard muff. The original was used by Gilmour, who made it quite desirable. You can make your own for a fraction of the cost!
The 2021 update to the G2-Animal project comes with a 125B size enclosure, PCB-mounted potentiometers and Davies 1510-style knobs. Please note that this kit does not include a battery snap, and because of the large size of the PCB, a battery will not fit into the enclosure. Please plan to use a BOSS-compatible 9V negative-tip power supply with this build. This circuit includes a buffer and is not designed to be true-bypass, which is why the kit also does not include a true-bypass 3PDT board like most of our kits. Unlike previous versions of this project, version 3, released June 2021, includes germanium diodes.
