Red Special Pedal Kit

This kit includes all of the parts needed to build the GuitarPCB Red Special project. This PCB is designed to get tones as close as possible to the Red Special tones you hear on Queen albums.

This circuit was based on the RunoffGroove "MayQueen" which Tonmann modded by adding some tonal changes as well as an amazing SAG control giving ultimate versatility. This is no longer a one trick tone pony! For even more versatility we suggest adding our Tone TwEQ 3 Band active EQ in series for the ultimate boosted AC tones.

Go from Queen style "Fuzz Boosted AC" sound to the Boston style tone with the bump of a mid control using our awesome Tone TwEQ circuit.

The pedal cleans up with the guitar volume and sounds great with single coil pickups. Add a Tone TwEQ , Mini Me chorus , D'Lay and the Dr. Phybes for more ultimate tones.

The Red Special Kit comes with a 125B enclosure and black Davies 1510-style knob.

All of our pedal kits include a jack for a DC power adapter but no battery snap. If you wish to add a battery snap, please add a battery snap kit to your cart in addition to the pedal kit.
