We're phasing out the Mill-Max TO-5 sockets in favor of these, which we had manufactured so that we can offer them at a lower price. Unfortunately, we don't have drawings of these, so we've included a link to the Mill-Max datasheet below for reference. These are functionally the same and are high quality, with gold-plated connectors inside each of the 3 pin sockets. These have 2 little plastic "feet" extending down on the bottom that the Mill-Max model does not have. The image on this page showing the bottom of the socket is underexposed (brightened up a lot) to show the detail on the black plastic, which otherwise would be impossible to see.
These high-quality gems are great for those who like to experiment with their fuzzes to find just the sound they want. This is a 3-pin, TO-5 transistor socket. These fit PCBs which are laid out for TO-5 and TO-39 transistors, such as 2n404, 2n130x, 2n3053, BC160, BC161, and many, many more.
